We are a group of bohemian, energetic and enthusiastic young people who traveled entire India and eastern rural regions like bohemians for knowing the interior of the landscape. While traveling we have seen people starving in poverty, hunger and dieing, we have noticed that they were making some traditional handicraft products and trying to sell them for their livelihood, but they never knew where these artistic work could get an appreciation and value for money. We supported them to make those handicraft products, the masterpiece items. Many buyers appreciated those handicraft products when they visited our city. After a while we thought of helping them financially. However, we were short of resources. We financially helped them procuring the raw material of the handicraft products and provided them with vocational training to make the finished handicraft masterpieces. Handicraft is said to be the article that is made entirely with hands without any aide from the modern technical equipment. India is a land where making handicrafts had started around 5000 years ago. Crafted items using different raw materials and designs with great attention invested on intricacy and detail. The work is very tedious and requires skill. Jute is one of the cheapest natural fibers and is second only to cotton in amount produced and variety of uses. Jute fibers are composed primarily of the plant materials cellulose (major component of plant fibre) and lining (major components wood fiber). For centuries, jute has been an integral part of Bengali culture. In the 19th and early 20th centuries, much of the raw jute fibre of Bengal were exported to various countries of the world. Recently we have started exporting the jute diversified utility products. The best source of jute in the world is the Bengal Delta Plain in the Ganges Delta The major advantages of using the jute diversified products are:

  • Jute fiber is 100% bio-degradable and recyclable and thus environmentally friendly.
  • It is a natural fiber with golden and silky shine and hence called The Golden Fiber.
  • It is the cheapest vegetable fiber procured from the bast or skin of the plant's stem.
  • It has high tensile strength, low extensibility, and ensures better breath-ability of fabrics.
Our jute handicrafts items represent the true essence of Indian craftsmanship. Carved with care, these jute handicrafts are capable to style the decor. The 'Golden Fiber' is mainly woven, knotted and braided by women of Bengal. Today our jute products are ranging from jute bags to jute utility items.

Terracotta is one of the most ancient forms of art in Bengal and the association with religion has given it a different dimension. The traditional potters have been producing domestic and decorative items by molding dry and burnt clay over the ages.

The manufacturing unit is located in Kolkata, on the beds of river Ganges where the potters from India, who need no introduction to the connoisseurs of the art anywhere in the world, carry out this fabulous legacy of art.

The clay is solidified and wedged to the framed into the desired shape and size, on the potters wheel. This is followed by hand - craft for decoration and design like inlay, handle making, etching etc. After drying the product is given finishing by sand paper and sponging and then the initial firing is done at 950°C, followed by glazed firing at 1050°C in the kiln. Meticulous care is taken to retain the natural grace and feel of the products.

Where You Touch The Feet And They Touch Your Heart...
A Melody of Bengal Craft...

Papyrus". In the past, papyrus scrolls were made by taking slices of the inner part of the papyrus stem, flattening then pounded into a hard, thin sheet. The age-old craft of hand paper-making traces its roots from china through the Mid-East to Europe. It set off one of mankind's greatest communication revolutions.

There has been a complete revival in homemade paper-making crafts, today. Handmade paper is traditionally made with various vegetable fibers or cotton rags. Each sheet of handmade paper is destined to play an important role in the final work of art. The possibilities for what can be accomplished with handmade paper and paper pulp are limitless.

The concern about the disappearance of forests, coupled with renewed interest in the quality of papers generated new study of the paper maker's materials, especially the pulps and fibers. Hand paper-making is an energetic creative outlet and paper pulp has become not only a vehicle, but also an artistic medium in itself. Some of its beautiful aspects are that no tree needs to be harvested and paper is a stunning example of recycling at work.

Skilled Indian makers use a variety of raw materials for making handmade papers. These materials range from all manner of vegetable matter (including leaves, tree moss, potatoes, and flowers), old ropes, and canvas, linen and cotton rags. Any raw material can be used as long as it has fibers capable of forming a continuous sheet. These materials guarantee the most important characteristics of handmade papers for exquisite usage in fine-arts ensuring longevity, brilliance, opacity and creativity.

Colorful handmade paper is effectively used in making a multitude of decorative items, greeting cards, wallpapers, carry bags, gift boxes, art portfolios, and much more. The handmade paper stationery range includes handmade paper letter heads, visiting cards, envelops, note pads, memo cubes
